Advice needed for B1 visa

Me and my wife are working here on H1b with I-485 filed.
My brother in law's company is planning to apply for his Business visa.
Question I have is should he mention in his visa form that his sister is working in US or not ?
If he does not will that make any negative effect on his Business visa application ?
any advice is appreciated.
