Advanced Parole: what is considered a "good" reason

Hello,

I have an AOS pending based on marriage to a USC. We had interview in Aug. 06 and are awaiting FBI name check. I am currently in the process of filing I131 for Advanced Parole and I am specifying that my reason is "Vacation to Europe" and my reason for requesting a multiple entry AP is because "... we are planning additional trips abroad....". Is this sufficient?

The reason why I am asking is because the form instructions make it sound as if you need a special reason, but I know people use it all the time to go on vacations.

What reasons did you put down when you applied and how long was your explanation?

For AOS pending, family visit/vacation etc. are good enough reason for AP. Please see the thread below and other threads for more discussion on AP

I successfully acquired two APs during my AOS stage. Both times I put "Visiting my parents in Canada" as my reason.
