How to make out if the Advance Parole is single or multiple entry?

TO ALL :

1) Where does Advance Parole state if is a Multiple or Single entry?

2) Has anyone travlled on AP twice or more and used the SAME Original AP at POE ?

3) What happens at the POE if you do not have an Original AP document which is not stamped ( but the AP duration is valid )?

4) How does multiple travels on AP work?

Help for all those who have been in my situation is highly appreciated

Thanks
Ankit

You have to use same original copy every time ...

ankit_email03,

When, I used my AP during last travel, I asked the office at the second immigration. per him, you have to use the same paper every time you travel during the validity of the AP ( I have a multiple entry AP, Do you have a multiple entry AP or a single entry). Per him normally first stamp they will put on the front and all additional stamps they will put on back side...

So I will suggest that talk with your Attorney and get the proper advice...

Thanks ...

Ankit- it is advance parole not payroll.
1. Yes that is the idea!
2. You produce the already stamped but valid AP. They stamp you again and you get in (after secondary inspection though)
3. No
Multiple means more than 1. 183 is a number I think is a valid number which can be termed as multiple (one day you go out, the next day you come back!!):D

Thanks for correcting me on Advance Parole!!

I have some concerns :

1) What is a secondary examination? Has any of you been through this? Please tell in detail.

2) How will I know that mine is a Multiple entry AP? Does the Parole document states somewhere if it is a single or multiple entry??

As stated,I travelled twice outside US and both times, I gave a new original AP document at the Point of Entry ( POE).

3) Have any of you got stamped TWICE on the same Original AP document while coming back to USA at the POE?

4) What you mean by " 183 is a number I think is a valid number "... I can make out it is 365/2

Do you think, it's a problem if I travel again? Thanks to Jaxen and M S -IL

Awaiting replies..

ankit_email03,

1. when you have used AP. at POE they would have asked you to go to some other room where another office will put stamp on your passport...

2. read the top few line of the AP carefully. It will say this document is valid for "Multiple / Single" entry ....

4. No Idea about 183...
:D :D :D but if you are living in El-Paso, and doing working in Cidad-Juarez Maxico. You can go out and come back same day ? :D :D :D

If it is multiple then, I don't think it will be problem ... But Again this is my opinion ...

So I will suggest that talk with your Attorney and get the proper advice...

To ALL :

1) How do we make out that we have a single or a multiple entry AP? Where does it state the difference on AP?

2) Have any of you got stamped TWICE on the same Original AP document while coming back to USA at the POE?

How does that work?

More advices are appreciated.

Thank you

1. Read the AP, Multiple is 2 and above, you have already entered using AP twice. So it should be multiple- right?

contingent upon the applicant's prima facie eligibility, this authorization is valid for MULTIPLE applications for parole into the United states during the validity of the parole authorization noted above.

2. Yes
How does what work?

Ankit, I had 3 AP's over the past 3 years, and I have traveled several times using each AP, especially in 2002, I traveled with the same AP so many times, they actually added an additional sheet to the main AP and that was stamped during my separate trips. I used to travel both on business and pleasure several times, never had a problem. It really does not matter whether you carry the same AP or different AP's. I always carried the same one, so that I had a track of when I entered the US at different points of time. An AP is a Multiple entry document and you can re-enter the US until the date of expiry any number of times.

Thank you Rg585.
I was looking for an answer from someone who travlled multiple times using same AP.

1) Can differenct POE ( port of enrty )have different rules for AP ?

My POE will be O'Hare Airport, Chicago.

Awaiting your reply. Thanks

Ankit, I have entered via Atlanta, Miami and New York on different occasions, never had a problem. Dont worry about it and believe me, I have traveled so many times. All you have to go thru is the special treatment you receive when you arrive in the US. You will be taken to a separate room and your AP will be stamped. The last few times, I was finger-printed as well, so no big deal.

Rg585,

If you can give me your Phone # or call me at 312-282-3483, I might wanna talk to you personally... however, you made me relaxed.

Thank you Sir...
