Hi all,
My ND is 08/20/2003. I am still waiting for AP/EAD. I got a RFE on 140 in oct and it was cleared in Dec. I wish I hadn't got that RFE. I have also cancelled my trip to India once already (paid $750 cancellation charge). My sister is getting married in March and can't do anything about it. This is really frustrating.

Does AP application require any proof

When you apply for AP renewal, do you need to provide any letter stating that you might need to travel in the next one year so? How long in the advance does one need to file for AP renewal if one has an approved AP? Does it matter if you have not used the previous AP?

VSC's AP current processing date is showing 10/09/2003 since two months. What does it mean? I feel INS is doing it intentionally to harass us. Too frustrating...

Can you apply for an AP more than 90 days before? My current AP is expiring on Jul 29th. Can I apply now for the renewal?

For ur info my A.P. was approved through VSC on march 5 2004 my ND was 26 sep 2003.Hey guys if i am travelling using A.P. do i need a transit visa if i go through Switzerland , i know i i do need it if go through london but not sure about switzerland, any inputs regarding this will be great helpful.

Waiting for EAD/AP from VSC

Hi all,

My Receipt Date at VSC is Dec 08, 2003 for EAD/AP/I-485.

1) Has anyone rec'd EAD/AP with a Dec RD? (You must think I'm joking, given the amount of time some people here have been waiting.)

2) Since 90 days have expired, can my wife get an I-EAD from the Baltimore office?

3) My current O-1 status expires in July. Given the delays in the Baltimore office (30+ days), is it wise that I also apply for I-EAD from the local office?

4) Is there no recourse at all for AP, other than dealth in the family or millions of dollars of business loss? I've already canceled travel plans many times.

I'm beginning to think I should have taken CP and got it over with!

AP Aproved Finally

My AP has been approved yesterday, one strange thing happened, last Thursday I gave my change of address over the phone and INS called my home around 6.15PM Denver time and confirmed that they have updated my change of address and told me that I will get a written confirmation via mail in 3 weeks, strangely after 3 days my AP is approved(Could a co-incidence). Anyways, I post-poned my trip 3 times, at last I got the freedom to leave and enter this country.
