Admission of an infant

Hi

If I send my infant son to the US who holds a tourist visa with a friend who also hold a tourist visa or an R1 visa will he have problems in admission since hes not traveling with one of his parents?
 
Yes. At the least, notarised statements from both the parents might be needed. Is this friend related to the infant in any way, uncle, cousin, etc? USCIS will want to make 100% sure that is not not kidnapping in any form or shape.
