Adding spouce after changing jobs using AC21

Hi Gurus,
I have a small question. Can one add spouse to the I-485 application after changing the jobs using AC21. Currently my wife is on H4 in US. What will happen to her status when I change the job with out adding her to my I-485. Or What will happen if I change the job after filing her I-485 papers and no response yet received from the BCIS. I would appreciate if any of had similar experiences and can share it with me.

U can add ur spouse to ur 485 application, as long as ur 485 is pending.
It takes 1 or 2 yrs, to hear response from BCIS on the 485 approval.
If ur 485 is approved ,u cannot add ur spouse - but u have to apply green card for spouse using family based immigration, which takes yrs together.
So if u have not yet added ur spouse to ur 485, add as soon as possible.
 
I presume you are going to change job using EAD, not a H1 transfer. Then your spouse's status becomes invalid. File for I485 first before changing employer using EAD.
