Add cases with No RFE,NoDecision for Oct/Nov 2004

Congrat for your I140 approval.
It looks calling emergency helps to speedup case.
My case filed thru attorney...Can I call emergency OR Does Attorney call them ?

I think you should wait for couple of day until next JIT comes out and then try calling the emergency number. It doesn't hurt calling them. Sometimes, its actually better in a way that if your file is taken out for processing and is lying untouched, then atleast USCIS will notice it and who know, approve it right away.

GC-EB1CSC , I'd agree with almost_there_GC . It can't hurt to call up the emergency no. especially if USCIS is processing 140's past your RD+30 days .

I wouldn't recommend calling them before the 30 days since you'll be dragging them away from someone else's approval ;)

BTW , you can call the emergency no. directly and needn't wait for your lawyer . In my situation , I think it was a case of a happy coincidence since I called on Thursday 5/11 , I believe and it shows that it got approved on 5/12 .
Alternatively , it might have been approved and never completed the last stage of processing which sends it out of the USCIS door or my call may have triggered the USCIS to approve which I highly HIGHLY doubt for obvious reasons :D

EB3-OCT 5th-2004 still not approved

I have not heard a thing regarding my I_140 I-485 as of yet, I don't know why???

Submit 750 A only or both A & B

Hi,

I have my own approved LC, EB3. Someone said submit 750A only if your own labor when filing 140/485, if substitute, submit both A & B. I called my lawyer he said he has submitted both A & B. Who is right?

I was wondering what "received" stands for. Definitely it doesn't mean the total number of applications received by USCIS.

hi guys, my I140 got approved last 4/27/05 and i got rfe on my I485 re: legal status. my lawyer submit the rfe reply last 5/13/05 , i would like to ask if anyone knows how many days it will take for CIS officer to touch my case after submitting the rfe reply.. as of now my LUD doesnt' change.

"Received" means cases not touched yet. (Status Msgs says Received on Nov19....)
Your case is already passed 30 days..Have u initiated enquiry ?

From OCT-04 almost 86% cases Approved/RFEed/Transfered/Withdrawn.
From NOV-04 it's almost 79%

Thanks for the info. My lawyer sent an inquiry on May 5, but no response yet. I wonder how long it might take. Should I call USCIS directly? If so, what are the necessary info that I might be asked (other than the case number)?

alaimalai , when you call the USCIS emergency no. , all you need is your I140 case no. He/she might get your name for validation purposes but thats about it.

Congrats gcwagon !!! That's strange..Lawyer says approved but online status says received. Does Lawyer received approval notice ? Kindly update us whenever your online status says approved. That may give some more ideas who are waiting

It is indeed strange that my status was not updated. There is one other case that was approved recently that had similar behavior (status - received). I will update the forum when my online status changes.
 
I-140/I 485 Approved

I-140/I-485 RD : 6th October 2004 (EB2)

I-140 RFE : 4/4 (W2 copies for prior years)
I-140 RFE Response Received : 5/5

I-140/I-485 AD 5/16

Online status still says that this case is received. My attorney has informed me that its approved.
