My 140 is approved and it has been more than an year since I have filed my 485.

I am planning to change my employer. But I don't have with me the Labor and 140 approval copies, do I need them? My employer and even attorney will not give me those copies.

Will it be a problem if I change my employer without the approval copies?

Thanks in advance.

----- if I-140 is approved and I-485 is pending more than 180 days you can change employer and can use AC21

------ it will be better if you get approved Copy form ETA750A becase it has your job duties or skills written on it in item 13, if you remember the skills it is OK. if you are not able to get LC copy I-140 copy then use FOIA ( search for FOIA threads) if you have I-140 filing reciept copy it is better

----- no it is not a problem, but if you have copy of LC then it is easy to write the same skills as or job duties on new employer job offer letter that you have to send USCIS, you need I-485 filing reciept to renew your EAD or file AP, I have seen that many service center some time also ask the copy of I-140 filing reciept or I-140 approval copy when you renew EAd of file for new AP( it does not happen with every case) if you know your I-140 reciept # just take the print out from USCIS online status and can attach when file for EAD or AP.
** if your I-485 was filed by earlier company lawyer then better change your lawyer for pending I-485 fill up G28 with new lawyer so that he represent YOU and if any RFE it will come to YOU lawyer, if you change address let your lawyer update the USCIS for your new address so that you get FP notice at your address
