Guys,
any help is so much appreciated, I want to use the Ac 21 because I changed jobs. I left the first job less than 2 months after filing the I485.

I could not find any attorney who believes that I should get approved.

Please let me know if you know any attorney who had done this successfully.

Or any helpful advice, thanks so much.

When did you joined your current employer? After 180 days of I485 filing?

If yes, there's a chance.

If not, maybe you can talk to your employer to help you with the employment letter and everything that can prove that you joined them after the 180 day line.

If they are not flexible, find a third employer and quit the current one.

Personal opinion though ...

I joined the new company before 180 days.

but I think what is important is when did I leave the first company. I left it 2 months after the RD of the I485.

My company is not flixible about anything. It is so unfortunate. I am looking for other employers, but the issue of the 180 days will still be there,

talk 2 Rajiv khanna

Once I was told by one of his assistant who is handling my case that you can change jobs well before 180 days as long as your case is not adjudicated before 180 days. If ur I-485 gets adjudicated before 180 days ( which is not going to happen now) , then your are screwed. This is my understanding from what the assitant said. Please talk to a competent lawyer and get clarified.

Are U a concurrent filer?Is ur 140 approved ?

Did U leave ur job or laid off? If u were laid off then atleast U have chance(whatever little). It looks like u left voluntarly.

I think you have nothing to worry about, unless your I-485 will become adjudicated before 180 days ( which is most unlikely ). My lawyer confirms that; also I know at least 2 people who got laid off before 180 days and got GC using AC21.

One of my friends has similar problem. I think what he did was he did not put his joining date in the letter. I remember sheela Murthy was handling his case.

i131 who is your lawyer?

Please give me the contact information for your lawyer. You can send me email at hyasin@hotmail.com.

I appreciate it so much, my interview is after 3 weeks, I don't have a lawyer yet!
