AC21 Clarification

1. Once I140 is approved and I485 is pending for more than 180 days, we can use the AC21 to change jobs.

2. We can inform on our own through AC21 about the job change

3. Or we can wait for an RFE and then respond with AC21.
We may get lucky and get approved without any RFE so we dont need to file AC21 at all

4. We have to get similar job with similar job duties mentioned in the LC.

5. We have to get similar salary mentioned in the LC. We can get more salary but not less. How much % less is acceptable?

Are my above assumptions are correct?

1 through 4 appear OK on first glance.

You can get more or less than on the LC, but the difference should be small enough not to raise questions about wether or not the job is similar.

For example, my LC stated a salary of $70k. $60-80k probably would be OK, but if I came in at $30k or $150k some eyebrows might be raised.
