i have a question in regards to my wife's i-94 which is expired, reason for that is she went on vacation to mexico, but forgot to bring her J1 visa form so they gave her a 30 day i-94. we have sent in all the paperwork (J1 visa, i-94, etc..) to the i515A processing team in washington d.c.

we are waiting to receive the new i-94, but they are taking forever to send it back to us.

question is, can we send a copy of the expired i-94, or do we definitely have to wait for the new one and send a copy of that?

thanks.

thank you for the response. do we have to attach a note with the i-94 explaining why its expired? or just send it as is?
