about H1B 221g

hello there,
I applied for h1b1 visa (first time) to mumbai consulate yesterday,
they kept my applicaton on hold and gave me 221 g form and
asked to provide W2 forms, tax returs, photographs, contracts
of my company. My company is sending me all this things next
week, my questoin to you is : After i proivde consulate with
all the things they have asked for, will they give me visa or
still they can keep my case on hold , what does your experience
says ?
does this happen with others h1b seekers also and after they
present asked documents to consulate do they get h1 visa after that?
i would be very thankfull for your reply.

First you should submit your documents what they have asked. If they are satisfied they may give you Visa. Were you out of status in past? Do you have differences in LCA and wages paid by H1 employer? Any employee of your employer logged a complaint against your employer for the wages to DOL or BCIS in past? Was your employer investigated in past for H1B violations?
 
i applied for the first time so its not a question of
out of status, my employer is genuine and has no
problem in the past with bcis.
what do you think about my case.

I was in a similar situation 2 yrs ago
Everyone whom I know (and met) got the visa
in my case - they were confused 'cos my company was acquired
I had to show them the law though in order to prove my case.
Visa officer was pretty dimwitted and was showing a lot of attitude.
