Hi, everyone! I would like to share my story with you.
I was scheduled for an interview in the American embassy in Skopje, Macedonia. The appointment was at 8:00 am. I went there an hour earlier but they told me that I should come exactly at 8:00 am. So, I went to the nearest restaurant, had a breakfast and went back in front of the embassy at 7:30 am and just stood there. In a few minutes, people who had appoitments for different visas started to show up. A man came out from the embassy with a list and started to call our names. I was the first on it.
I entered the embassy and went to the immigration room. There was a man who checked my documents. He then told me to wait for my name to be called. I waited for a good 30 minutes before my name was called. I went to the window with my documents. The man at the window took them and told me to go to another window to pay the fee. I paid 775$ and came with the bill. He told me to take a seat and wait for the interview with the consul.
I waited for another 40 minutes or more and my name was called by the consul. I went to the window. He congratulated me for being selected. He asked me about my education. He said that I wrote that I was enroled in the State University in Macedonia and asked for my index. I gave it to him. We then talked a little more about that and asked me if I was going to college in the US. I said that I would like to go to college, so he was satisfied with my answer. We were talking for some time when suddenly he said: "Well, you can come back in two days to pick up your visa. Good luck in the United States of America." I thanked him a lot and left.
Well, that's my story!
I wish all of you the best of luck and God bless you all!
