Forum members share information and experience with each other in this forum. In last two weeks many forum members (many of them have extreme problems in their GC porcessings) put lots of efforts to find/gather information in following thread.

http://boards.immigration.com/showthread.php?t=186261

Now, today suddenly this thread is gone. I tried to contact webmaster, did not get any reply. Moderator joyd's PM inbox is full, therefore there is no way to contact him. Other moderator monica1 does not accept PM. The originator of this thread 'grmfrmnj1' is saying he/she did not delete it.

I am wondering what's going on.

Wait and watch.

I have asked people MANY times not to post defamatory comments about any employer or person. This exposes us to needless hassles and litigation. Discuss whatever you like. But do not name or identify specific employers. We will delete all such threads we find.

If the comments were defamatory, wouldn't it be enough to delete ONLY those postings? Most of the postings were not "defamatory", but useful - especially for people whose immigration status, jobs are in risk. Therefore deleting the whole thread was "needless" too.

And it seems that "Disclaimer" with quadruple sized font on the top wasn't good enough!

Ironically immigrationportal hosts another subforum with name "Employers Corner" ( http://boards.immigration.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32 ) where it seems it's pretty much OK to "identify specific employers" (and the name of the subforum is self-explanatory).

I agree with pralay, if the comments were defamatory, just delete them and post a warning not to mention any names .
That thread had lot more information that just defamatory remarks. It was helpful to many.

Are u an employee of the said company yet or you just filed for GC as future employee?

I am neither an employee of this company, nor am I a future employee. I have no interest, relation, enimity with the said company. My only interest is immigration topics. Right now this company is tangled up in immigration issues. That's the only intersection between this company and me.
