just wonder when can i apply for the citizenship

is it 3 years and 9 months after the stampling or the date on the GC?


i did some searches, could not find the old post

The date your permanent residence began will be printed on your green card. It is one year before your I-485 approval date.

Stamping date is not relevant.

so its GC date + 3 years and 9 months to apply huh :rolleyes:
 
Are you sure its GC date + 3 years 9 months???
That leaves 2 years 9 months from Today because GC was backdated. I think 3 years 9 months is from the time you get your GC?? Anybody
 
Lazerthegreat is right; 3 years 9 months after the I-485 approval date; 4 years 9 months after the backdated GC date.
