A question!

I came to US on h4,and subsequently got H1B. H4 got expired in Nov, 01 and my H1b is valid through2003. Now my question is:

Can i stay till the validity of my H1B is US or is there any rule that says i need to get the H1B visa stamp in my passport before it expires?

Someone said to me so, which i don\'t know true or false.

Please help.

No Title

No need to have the stamp for maintaining valid status. However if you travel outside US and want to come back in you need a H1 stamp. I presume that you are working somewhere and earning some money..

Is it same for H4 stamping

My H4 stamping is vlid through this month end and my new H4 has a valid I-94 till nov\'2002......Is it fine to stay here with out the H4 stamping in the passport?
