I have been working for company A, the original H-1B sponsor. However, about two years ago I accepted an offer from company B. Hence company B did a H-1B transfer. After the approval of the transfer, company B withdrew their offer due to company reorganization. So I never worked for B. I did ask the HR manager at company B to inform INS regarding the change. I was told their lawyer would take care of it. However I did not follow up on the issue. Now thinking about it, will this be a problem for my Green Card application down the road? Thanks for your inputs.

No. I dont see any problem. You need not mention the various visas that were applied on your behalf (unless they are crucial to maintain your status) in any of your immigration applications. IMO the company B visa application, approval and your not joining is irrelevant.
