A# number

My wife had A# number when she was on J2.now she is on H4. I am filing I485/AP/EAD where i have to fill the A# number. can i give the old number or it is not valid as it is exprired 3 years ago.

if i leave that column 'unfilled' what will happen?
 
Give her old A#.
But when you receive I-485 receipt there will be another A#, so after this you should use this one, linked to I-485 (and EAD also).
