A couple of questions

I will file N400 soon and just want to confirm a couple of things.

1. The filing fee $595 + $80 for fingerprint, can I write them in one check?

2. I've read thru the instruction and it seems I can just submit N400 form and don't need to provide other materials, is it ture? My understanding is that all other materials are needed only at interview.

The only things that you need to provide when you send your application are 2 passport-style photos and a copy of your green card. It's indicated in the instructions.

I disagree on point 2 you should check the "document checklist" shown here

At the very least you need to include two photographs and copies of both sides of your green card, you need to read the checklist to see what else applies to your case.
