7th year extension 1 year or 3 years?

Is one allowed to file extension only for 1 year increment or 3 Years when LC is pending for more than 365 days? My employer referred to Yates interim memo on AC21 and filed for 3 year extension. Now I am worried :confused: whether my extension request is valid or will it get denied. Anybody on the same boat? Please share your experience.

You are eligible only one year increment of extn, if LC is pending more than 365 days. If I 140 is approved then you are eligible for 3 yrs increment of extn beyond 6th year.

I chaned my employer 4 months before nearing 6th yr and got 7th Yr extn based on the LC pending for more than 365 days with my Prev. Employer.

I heard we can file PERM now in 7th Yr also and request 3-yr's extn once PERM LC & I-140 is approved.3-Yr's extn is because of retrogression it seems ..

Can some one Help, if you guys know anything about this..
