7 mths after filing i 130 and still no word

The next step is waiting for so called "Package III" from Department of State. It takes a while for immigration for forward the file to them. When you receive the package, simply make the first payment and you will get another package from visa center. follow the steps they tell you and send back the package. then visa center will forward the whole file to American consulate. they will inform your husband in UK. Make sure you give them the correct address. Congratulations and good luck.

I got approval notice from uscis today for my husbands i 130. I would say that having your senator and congress reps working for you really makes a difference. They were wonderful with me. It may also have to do with the fact that our youngest daughter is ill as well, i dont know.
Any ideas on how long it will be before my husband, in london, receives whatever he needs now to proceed. I dont even know what the next step is. Could it still be many more months before he will actually be on a plane over here to stay?
July 14 he has an interview at the embassy in london, to apply for a vistors visa on account of our daughters illness. He has with him to take to interview her medical records and a letter from her doctor. I wonder if it will make a difference on them letting him come visit because the i 130 is now approved.
