6th Year Expiration and Pending EAD

Hi,
I will be completeting 6 years on H1-B visa on April end. I recently changed the company and my employer is filing for I140/I485/EAD using a preapproved labor.
If it does not come through by April, I will be out of status and will have to go out.
But let us say it gets approved one month after I leave, Can I come back into USA using EAD?

------- once you file the I-485 you OK to stay till final decision onI-485 is made, for work you need validH1 or EAD in hand. if you fileI-485 now you will get I-485 filing reciept in 15-20 days and with I-485 pending reciept you can file 7th th year H1 extension, you should file I-485 ASAP AND then file 7th year H1 extension BEFORE yourI-94 gets expired. it to safe to be on H1 as you dont know if I-140 will be approved based on LC substitution

--- to be bak to US you need H1 Visa stamp or Valid AP, you should also file AP with your I-485
