6 months stay outside USA before entering again ?

Hi,
Is there a requirement specified anywhere that a visitor CANNOT visit the USA within 6 months of his/her last vist (ie 6 months from the day that he/she last left the USA) ?
Can a visitor stay in the USA for 6 months, then leave and come back in 1-2 months. Is there any rule preventing this ? Are there any problems/concerns regarding such visits ?

There is no regulation whatsoever governing time between two B-1/2 visits. However, admittance is decided by the officer at the POE. Frequent and prolonged stays in the US will arrouse suspicion and invite questions. Remember, entry is never guaranteed on any non-immigrant visa.
