Hello,
In June I have received the DV-2010 selectees letter, I have made everything ready to be sent back to KCC now, except some simple and potentially obvious questions, but I'd just like to know for sure...
1. Do children below 18 need to apply for an SSN as well?
2. In DS-230 form, question 3 -
3. Full name in native alphabet (If roman letters not used)
I don't quite understand the "Roman letters not used" statement - does that need to be the alphabet of the country where you live now or the country where you were born and claimed eligibility on (but my children were born where I live now - their native alphabet still is the one I input for myself right?)?
3. The question in DS-230 question 22 lower part -
22. In what occupation do you intend to work in the United States?
Is a lot of consideration given to the answer to this question - what If I am not sure, then how is it best to write it? Perhaps I just should input the occupation in which I worked most time from those I list just above this one in question 22?
4. If I simply don't have answer to a certain question since I don't remember and I can't write N/A since it is important like a person's address etc..., should I simply write I don't remember or just input for example only the country if I don't remember the exact city, street, number, etc...?
5. Also I'd just like to make sure - when I send my case with everything filled up back to KCC for evaluation of my qualification for an interview and the issuance of an interview date - I send only the DS-230 forms for all family members, the DSP-122, one photograph for each family member, and the barcode sheet - and that's it right? I'm just asking since I saw many people going through checklists on this forum and others, checklists which included documents such as marriage certificates, birth certificates, military and criminal records - I think those were for different visas and not the DV visa, but I got kind of confused - from what I read, all those certificates and records I need to bring just to the interview, is that correct?
Thank you in advance for any useful information!
