4th Marriage, never applied for GC. Do I have major problems?

How long have you been married to your current wife, and how long was it between your latest divorce and you current marriage?

I am assuming you are out of status and subject to a 10 year ban if you leave the country? You should be prepared for a tough AOS interview. Not saying it may neccessarily happen, but a hardlined adjudicator may consider you as a person willing to do anything to get a GC.

Would this be a major problem for me being that it is my 4th marriage, even though it is 3rd wife?

And someone who doesn't take marriage seriously. It might be a good idea to wait until completing at least a year of marriage before applying.

I see that you have been unstable with your marriages, that might be a lot of trouble if you want to get a G.C. because any functionary on reviewing the process might think that you are desperately to have American citizenship

Okay, so it is looking like my best bet would be to wait a year to apply? I am not out of status as yet. I am about to apply for 1 year of OPT, so I would be able to work on that.
Good. If you can complete 2 years of marriage that would be even much better, as 2 years is considered by USCIS to be the true test of a marriage. If you're married at least 2 years when they adjudicate your case, you'll get a 10-year unconditional green card instead of a 2-year conditional one.

I know this question probably should be in a different tread, but how closely related to my field should OPT work be?
That's something to discuss with your International Student Office.

Take the advices of jackolaten and triple citezenwho knows this process pretty well. I would recommend you to take at least a year before applying as well. Don’t sweat it to much although you have gotten marriage many times demonstrate them your marriage is not only for a GC.

I would really advise as well to wait for two year to be in the save side. You will have one year with your OPT then another one which you can renew which I know it is really hard but it would be a lot better if you get some record better than anything.
