Would this be a major problem for me being that it is my 4th marriage, even though it is 3rd wife?
I am assuming you are out of status and subject to a 10 year ban if you leave the country? You should be prepared for a tough AOS interview. Not saying it may neccessarily happen, but a hardlined adjudicator may consider you as a person willing to do anything to get a GC.
It might be a good idea to wait until completing at least a year of marriage before applying.
Good. If you can complete 2 years of marriage that would be even much better, as 2 years is considered by USCIS to be the true test of a marriage. If you're married at least 2 years when they adjudicate your case, you'll get a 10-year unconditional green card instead of a 2-year conditional one.Okay, so it is looking like my best bet would be to wait a year to apply? I am not out of status as yet. I am about to apply for 1 year of OPT, so I would be able to work on that.
That's something to discuss with your International Student Office.I know this question probably should be in a different tread, but how closely related to my field should OPT work be?
