My 485 got transferred to San Francisco local INS office (for whatever reason) on Dec 10, 2003. My filing date of 485 at CSC was May 2002.
I am following the processing date of the local office (not CSC) at San francisco, at the following site :

As of June 16, 2004, they are processing Nov 30, 2003 cases.
Can anyone clarify these?
1.)When I asked the customer service 1-800-375-5283, they say that I can follow the above url to find out when to expect an interview letter but when I went to the local INS office and informed, they laughed and said that transfer cases are not reflected by the dates in that url and that the interview letter would come anytime from 1 year to 3 years. And at another web site on INS, http://uscis.gov/graphics/fieldoffices/sanfran/aboutus.htm#adjust
they say its 10 months. Which is correct?
2.) My 1st FP already expired. When they call me for interview, whenever that is,
a) do they take my 2nd FP on that day and also take my interview or
b) they will ask me to come back after the 2nd FP whose notice I have to keep looking forward to or
c)take my interview and ask me to wait for 2nd FP to be done and when its done wait again for approval?
3.) However, being an optimist, I have started collecting relevant documents. Regarding house lease agreement (to prove that me and my wife stay together), do they look at all the lease agreements since you applied for 485? Or are they just happy with the latest one? Because we moved quite a few apts and I dont have all those lease docs.
4.) Anyone in the same boat, can we exchange our unpleasant stories? If yes, send mail to balaji_gadi@hotmail.com
