485 interview process

Today I checked my 485 status online and it said that the case had been transferred to the local office on December 17, 2004 for scheduling the interview or to take further action on my case ....
Can someone tell me whether this means that the 485 stage is nearing completion and ready for approval? How long does it take to schedule an interview once the case gets transferred out of USCIS? And what is usually asked during the interview?
Any help/advise would be welcome.
Thanks

YES, if your PD is before jan1 ,2002 and you are EB3 and birth place is India, China, if you are EB2 then also no problem(PD is the date your LC was filed)
How long does it take to schedule an interview once the case gets transferred out of USCIS?
------- depends where your I-485 is transfred, you did not write your Local USCIS office where file is transfred
And what is usually asked during the interview?
----- They will send you Interview date notice AND list of documents to bering, take the orignal and Copies, they just ask simple questions, go local USCIS transfer threads and read the experince of others.
Any help/advise would be welcome.
Thanks
