485 Approved

My theory is that the USCIS is approving all "easy" cases asap. Remember they changed their FP rule to do it when the case is ready, notice how varied the time for getting the FP for people with same RD. So as long as you have a copybook case, you can expect your case approval soon. If you have anything out of the ordinary - expect delayed FP. and in case you have a name that matches a criminal/terrorist - then expect a delay after getting FP.

I agree -- this seems to be the only way to explain how the approvals are for NDs anywhere between 2001 and even 2004 these days (although some of those might be substitute labor cases which I believe go off the original PD?). A few cases appear to be have been "concurrently adjucated" per the F.O. memo but this still seems to be fairly rare.

Anyway, have a good weekend everyone and hopefully they'll do blanket approvals for everyone next week :D.

My 485 RD is 2004 and priority date is 2001

Thanks.

Congratulations on your quick 485 approval..I have question..You said yours is a labor substituted case in EB3 and your priority date is 2001..Does it mean that priority date is of the labor filing date of the original labor certification..?
Because, I am confused with some of the sites saying that the priority date for substitued cases is the date when the substitution case is filed..

Thanks

Thanks Guys

Yeah ! priority date is of the labor received date of the original labor certification. ie April 30,2001

What is up with this PD being the date of the original approval of Labor.

My Labor approval was in 2000. Stopped processing for three years because I left for a project oversees and resumed case in 2003 July. Just did my FP1 last week. Does this mean I can expect good news soon.
