Hi,

Please post your 485 approvals on this tracker. Such a tracker will give a lot of hope to a lot of folks who are patiently waiting their turn in line. (please feel free to add approvals with details that you have seen in other posts and other service centers too)

I140 RD = 10/01/2002
I140 AD = 08/13/2003
I140 AD = 12/21/2005
(USCIS re-approved I140 after correcting my PD. Initially, they'd put PD as 12/19/2001).

FP1 01/20/2003
FP2 06/22/2004
FP3 01/06/2006

I485 RD = 11/15/2002
I485 ND = 12/05/2002
I485 AD = 01/13/2006
Received approval email on 01/13/2006.
Received approval and biometrics appt. notice on 01/21/2006.

9th year H1 extension RD on 12/18/2006.

FBI Name check email sent in Oct. 2004. I received response from Mr. Hardy in Mar. ‘05 stating that my name check had been pending since Mar. 2003.

FBI FOIPA request sent in Mar. 2005 and received response around Mar. or Apr. 2005.

I-485 Approved...

...see signature for details. Called VSC up and they said that the cards will be mailed within 30 days.
 
lets track

May be it is better idea to track approvals based on PD movment, who is waiting since long time due to PD/ name Check.

That helps us to find that atleast some backlogs are getting cleared.

FP 17th Dec 04

Married March 05 added wife to I485 in April-05 , her FP done June-05.

Got RFE for Paystub in July-05 responded within 10 days and now waiting..

PD = 12/19/1999 (subst.)

I140/I485 RD = NOV-2004
I140 AD = SEP-2005
I485 AD = 23-JAN-2006

Received approval email on 01/18/2006.

Waiting for Plastic Cards !!!!!!!!!

My PD is Jan 2000(SUB), I485 RD is July 2004, I140 Approval Date is Oct 2004. waiting for the approval mails...
 
after approval letter

I have received I485 approval letter. Approval letter was advising me that i may have to appear for FP process or receive my green card in 90 days. Now I received another letter which states that my FP card in file has been expired and I have to appear for code 2 fingerprinting...should i bring my passport with me for stamping or should i just take my drivers license as ID. I have been fingerprinted in may and august of 2005. FP card expires after 15 months, I am confused again....

I received approval email and would like to share my details below. I would like to thank everyone who contribute to these forums. I've learned a lot from them. I had a lawyer for my I-140 but did the I-485, AP and EAD myself.

I just received my (and my wifes) 485 approval mail. i received an email saying the card has been dispatched on th 2/9/2006.

are you sure that eb3 pd is 01?, it is not current yet

can you share more details file date of labor, rd, lud etc

can you please clarify and make sure your category is EB3? your PD is not current if you are from India and in the EB3 Category.

If the details you have posted are true then a lot of folks from India have a lot of hope going forward.

How did you add your wife to your 485? Besides sending her application and marriage certificate and your 140 approval notice to CIS, did you do anything with your own 485 application, like sending them a new 485 form with her name in the spouse section? The reason I am asking this is that I will need to add my wife name to my 485 as soon as my PD is current and is not sure of the correct procedure (I heard from somewhere that you need to update your own form as well). Thank you for answering my questions.

I am an Eb3 - India case. PDs moved in the march bulletin, so that might have helped.
 
aPPROVAL OF 485

Hello everyone,

I am happy to tell you that my GC was approved today. It has been seven years to the week since I filed for labor. There is more a sense of relief than joy at this point. I don't know what I would have done w/o this website and all the contributors. Thank you Mr. Khanna and everyone who contributes. I have learnt more here than from my attorneys.

I also have to find a new hobby as my bashing the USCIS days are over..how will I fill the void??

I wish everyone luck and speedy approvals.

Still Waiting ....

- EB2 Labor PD Nov'2001
- I-140 & I-485 FD July'2003.
- I-140 approval in May'2004
- 3 EAD's
- Did finger printing in Sep'2004
- 485 LUD still says "The results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

As per March bulletin my date has become current. Still waiting for 485 approval. :confused:

Anyone in the same boat as mine? Any suggestions?
