3rd EAD rejected ..please help.

3rd EAD rejected ..please advice.

Hey Gurus,
I had applied for the 3rd EAD on Aug 25 and I got a letter from USCIS today saying that they have rejected my EAD. The explanation they give is that my I-485 has been approved. But I don’t think it has been approved, as I have not given the medical exam yet. My status too hasent changed for both my I 485 or EAD. On the other hand my wife got her EAD approved a month back.
BTW..my LUD for I 485 changed on Oct 8th and the LUD for my EAD changed on Oct 13th.
I don’t know what is going on? Is there someone I can touch base with in reference to this?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I agree that without medical 485 will not be approved, but when
its coming from the lions mouth whats the problem in trusting it?

After looking at my the letter i see that the Alien number does not match with my number. A couple of numbers have been swapped. Now the big question...what do i do about it and how do i rectify it?

1. first call up NCSC on I-800 talk to second level officer and provide your A# as on Your I-485 recieptand your I-485#
2 go to your lawyer who filed I-485 let him write letter to USCIS AND also contact your senator or congressman and point out the mistake of USCIS not issuing EAD or ask where is I-485 approval for you.
** what is the status of your I-485 if you check online???

Important thing is go to the Local office and enquire their. They connect to USCIS internal system tell you what is happening. One of my friend had simila issues. When he went to local office they found that there were two A# numbers were assigned to same person.

Also, i don't think i have 2 A#'s as looking back at the photocopy of my application i typed in incorrect A#....and that is what is displayed on my EAD receipt notice and that is what was written in the rejection notice letter. So somehow i need to rectify that A#. I will try to do all the steps you mentioned...lets see what happens.
