30 day RFE on medical .. please read

HI ,

I have recevied the letter yesterday , letter has a date of May 01 . First this letter was sent to my old address and now i got this letter on 23rd May at my new address . In the letter they mentioned that i have to return that within 30 days or 33days by mail. I havent made the appointment for medical yet . My 30 days will be over on 01 June , i dont know if my medical will be done by that time . Will this create any problem if i send the response on and after 1st june .

You have to respond by the time on the letter. Shop around for early apointment even if it cost you more driving, send the medicals by overnight delivery. I think few days late will not be major problem. It happened to my family, I just walked in the clinic and was lucky to do the exam in the same day, you may try that if you want.

Thanks for the reply , last time when i did my TB test it took me 3 days to get all the reports (blood) and TB test . So is there any way to get the TB test in the same day .

For TB you do skin test only (no blood test, blood for other tests) if it is positive, you have to do chest X-ray and the x ray should be "normal". The skin test take 2-3 days. what I did, I did the skin test in a clinic and I did also the x ray in case the test is positive. I took the test result and the X ray to the civil surgeon who report the results in the immigration form. Some physician accept outside reports others not. Just take early appointment at any civil surgeon from the immigration web site and few days delay is better than loosing the whole application.
