3 year extention / I-140 not approved yet

Hi friends,
My I-140 is not approved yet. It was applied in Jun 2007.

My H-1 6 years got completed on July , 2007. I applied for H-1B extention in June 2007 using approved Labor and pending I-140.

I got 3 year extention on the H-1 till 2010. From reading many posts I think I should get it only for 1 year.

I am planning to go to Mexico to get my H-1B stamped. Will there be a problem ? Is there anything I can do ?

Was/Is anybody in this situation ?

Please help me.

as "GotPR?" said talk to your lawyer and get it corrected, you with pending LC more than 1 year are eligible for 1 year extension only. it is mistake of lawyer or USCIS

your 6 year got completed July , 2007 and your H1 should be till July 2008 only

******OR file the H1 extension again in April, May 2008 and that time point out that your H1 by mistake was approved for 3 years and you were only eligible at that time for 1 year extension.
