I'm on TN right now. If I want to work in another company ( part-time), Can I apply my 2nd TN by mail(or E-file)? Thanks.

As long as you are in a valid status in US (even tourist) you can file or e-file for TN by mail (I-129).

This applies to 2nd TNs as well.

The cost is $320 for regular processing, plus $1000 if you want approval within 2 weeks (you can't start at the new firm without approval).

This makes going to the border (I-94 costs $50) a more sound decision.

Minor correction:

I-94 cost will be $56 ($50 for TN and $6 for the I-94).

Any just remember - you can't work for 2nd company until AFTER your TN is approved and you have the I-94 card in hand. Unlike H1 transfers, the receipt notice is not enough to allow you to work.

Several questions about TN renew by I-129 form

1. Could someone here attach an sample of I-129 form for TN renew?

2.I-129 form should be compeled by the company, right? Do I need to hire an attorney to double-check the Form before mailing out?

3. What is the best time for sending TN renew by I-129 form? 3 months in advance? or 6 months

4. Do I need to provide evidence that I have a strong tie to Canada? I still remember that the TN officer did asked me such kind of informtion when I applied for my first TN at border, it was a very stressful moment...

5.How to deal with it if you have been doubt with intent of immigration? (in my case, I have nothing there at Canada exempt keeping my bank account there but without any bank transactions...)
