2nd H1B extension I-140 approved

Hello all,

My current H1B extension expires July 31, 2008. We submitted an application to extend for another year - sent the extension I-129 in May.

If the extension is not approved by the time my current H1B expires:

1. Am I in trouble?
2. How long can I stay in the States?
3. Can I continue to work for my employer while we wait?

---------------till your H1 Extension status and you have I-485 pending
