Does lawyer get FP notice as well? I just changed my address and just mailed my AR-11 last week. I suppose I should call BCIS too. If an FP notice is sent to my old address and the post office does not forward it, I hope my lawyer gets one.... which brings up a point... are FP notices forwarded by the post office? Damn this sucks... they do nothing for years and finally when I decide to move, they start sending notices!

FP notices are fairly smoking right now...

We received 2nd FP only for my wife as per my lawyer. It is scheduled on 7thFeb. I am primary applicant though.

ASC in San Francisco

Hi,

I've also received a second FP notice for the ASC in San Francisco. I was wondering, has anyone tried to go to this office before their scheduled date (mine's 1/14 and I'd like to go before) and would they let you?

I got two fingerprint notices sent to my home (not quite sure why) and my lawyer also got one, so in total I ended up with three!!! So, at least in my experience someone else got my fingerprint notice.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. So far my whole experience has been...

1 lost AP
1 lost FP notice (luckily lawyer got it)
lost file by state dept of labor (cost me 15 months!)
lost file by national visa center when I opted for Consular Processing (cost me 5 months)

Damn I'm pissed!

Today we read ur post and went to El Cajon (San Diego) office

and completed our FP ahead of our appt.(2nd FP notice on

22nd Dec. Actual date for FP is Jan 16th) it just took 25 min. to

complete.

look like everybody is getting 2nd Fp notice...

I guess they want to make sure evrybody who is getting gc must have finger print for the database(watch list)...

Its like prison..all the prisoners must have finger print before they can put them into jail...

Got ours on Saturday.

I guess it makes a lot of sense to just send out all the expired
FP requests in bulk from a contractor like this. If we think things
are slow now imagine what would happen if they waited until
they got to your file to realize it is expired and then send out
the request and have to do that for most everybody. This way
is much quicker although overall still deadly slow.
 
Just received 2nd FP notice for Feb 17th at ASC in SJC.

Any clue if we have to go to the designated ASC or can we go to any other ASC?

Any help would be appreciated.

I got my 2nd FP notice (actually my daughter's came first then me and my wife) scheduled for Jan 14. Surprisingly, my wife and daughter's appt time was the same, mine was an hour earlier.

For anyone who has 2nd FP experience in Phoenix:
Do they do early FP? On our first FP, it didn't look like they did.
