2nd Finger prints before Oath date, but after N 400 interview

Friends,
I am asking for a friend who has already got the oath letter.He passed the N400 interview and cleared it as well.

But today he got a letter asking for 2nd finger prints as his previous ones are expired.

Will this affect the oath date by any chance?
Since I don't know how to answer his question, I am putting it here for expert advice.

Is his FP appointment before or after the oath date?

Great to see you are 1 day away from the end of all this hassle!

Yes, he has oath letter for later this month and the 2nd FP is before that. Wonder if that would delay the process and oath. Will there be another background check?

I believe finigerprint letter says that if your application is adjudicated then disregard this notice. If he has the oath letter then it means that his application is adjudicated which means he can disregard the FP notice. Anyways, it won't be a bad idea to call USCIS customer so he does not mess up anything.

No it won't delay anything. You friend will get his natz certificate on the day of his oath. 2nd FP apptts are just a formality so it could show active in the system. The FP will clear in 48 hrs.
