I'm a bit disappointed to see that my status didnt change after the FP was done 3 weeks ago. I have a sneaking suspicion that I might need to go the WOM route like I did for green card.

When is your 5 year anniversary? If you filed 90 days before then it won't move from FP till you are just 1 month before your anniversary.

My 5 years anniversary is in Jan, 2014. Do you have any reference for this procedure? I didnt know about it!
 
Today I was pleasantly surprised to see an e-mail message informing me the status changed to Testing & Interview. Now wait for the actual interview date but I know Salt Lake City is the one of the slowest district office.

What a lucky day. Got SMS alert saying "On December 18, 2013, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was scheduled for interview. You will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview"

Now wait for the letter and interview date.

Yellow Letter received

My wife has received an yellow letter stating to bring state license or state issued photo identification. Does this mean we can expect interview scheduled soon. There was no status change or date change.

I never received any yellow letter. I got the interview letter directly and yes it does says to bring the Green card and a photo ID. I think you might receive the letter soon.
 
Sorry hbudida, after replying to your thread, I checked my mail box and do see a yellow letter. This means that in another few days you will receive the actual interview letter. In my case I got the IL first and then the YL. :)

Guys, a quick question. I received a YL and IL and in the YL, it is mentioned to bring only a Photo ID. Do I still need to take any copies of the taxes filed for past couple of years. I am planning to take the IL, YL, GC, passport and my drivers license. Anything else do I need to take or worry about.

I am married and no previous divorces or kids nor anything like that. Planning to take my marriage certificate too, just in case.

Please help.
