My Online Status says "On October 24, 2013, we mailed you an appointment notice to have your fingerprints taken". Today is october 30th and I haven't still received the letter.

Generally how long does it takes to get this letter? Any idea guys.

My FP is scheduled for 11/04 but I walked-in today to Salt lake City ASC and they were kind enough to take my biometric. The office was almost empty and everything was done in 20 minutes! Now wait for the interview.........
 
Hi Watertown:

Can we just walk-in any day and do our FP? My appointment as per the notice is on 11/14. Can I walk-in next and try? Are we allowed to do that?

Thanks watertown. Also could you tell me when did the case status date changed in your case. Immediately after the FP is done or it took a day or two?

Priority Date: October 18th, 2013.
Finger Print notice received October 30th, 2013
Finger Print Appnt Nov. 19th
 
My case status still shows " we sent you the finger notice on 10/22....." It doesnt reflect the fact that the FP is done. I'm still waiting...

Now waiting for online status change.......

Walked in late Friday afternoon and the officer was kind enough to let my FP taken. He did checked with his supervisor and since there were only 3 people, the supervisor didn't object and granted permission.
