2013 April N-400 Tracker

Did the ASC analyst tell you that the fingerprints are not good, or was it just that they were trying hard to get the fingerprints, doing it multiple times ?
 
The operator spent a good amount of time taking my fingerprints, especially from certain fingers. She couldn't get them clear, but said they will try to run them through.
 
I just call USCIS, they told me that we should better check out with USCIS office for Biometrics processing (if you walked in). Some office are very lazy at doing their works, they never process as we hope even though we walked in for. Tomorrow I am going to double check with USCIS office to find out what is going on, when they did process for filling.

My status was update online on 10 June 2013:
On June 10, 2013, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 90 days of the date above, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance.

Do you complete 3 or 5 year of permanent residency in early July ? Looks like one is not put in line for interview until you are 30 days away from completing 3 or 5 years. Just wanted to confirm that.

Hello, My 5 years LPR green card residency date is on 9 July 2013. So your theory appears correct in this instance.

My best guess for my interview date is now mid September 2013, based on that I was told by a USCIS officer on the phone that Salt Lake City is taking 8 months to process the N-400 and that the interview happens three-quarters of the way along this time-line.
 
I haven't get any updates information about - "Status online: In line for interview scheduling" yet! Sad :(
 
Interview office

I think it would be helpful if applicants would mention their interview office, to give others an idea of processing times.

Our office is Seattle. Details are in signature.
We should have been in April tracker since the application was mailed in April. But it got rejected due to missing papers hence had to resend the application again in May.
 
Waiting to receive NOA2

Hey Y'all,

So I'm still awaiting my Biometrics letter to be sent out. Today was the 69th day from my NOA date and my case status is still the same: "Initial Review." I called USCIS two weeks ago on 6/14 to initiate a 2nd Service Request since my initial service request (5/28) went unanswered. I'm not sure if I need to worry as of yet but I hear that the Los Angeles office is notorious for delays due to the rather large applicant volume. I think I will call USCIS again next week to request an InfoPass since I don't know what I need to do next.

Just a little background: This is my second citizenship application since my initial application was denied by the Fresno Office since I applied 6 days before the 90th day at my new home address (almost 2 years ago). I passed the interview but was subsequently denied about 3 weeks later due to the lack of continuous 90-day residence within the application division/district/region. My initial biometrics date was 10/20/11 when I applied for citizenship two years ago, so I was one-month beyond the 15-month fingerprint eligibility timeframe at the time of my second citizenship application (4/16/13).

you filed for 2nd service request on 06/14/2013 and haven't receive till July 14th?
If your wait time is going over 90 days, if i were you, i will request for infopass, good luck texas.
 
Now waiting for my interview date & time. Very excited!

BTW, it DOES look like they don't put you in line for scheduling until you have 1 month before your 5 yr anniversary. I was put in line EXACTLY 1 month before my anniversary.

Went for Interview today. It was simple and straight forward.

Went there 20 mins before. Wait of 15 mins before I was called. Sequence below
- Say all truth - I do
- Asked for GC and passport - given
- Application details - DoB, Marriage, Employment, Travel (when did you last travel) - same as in appln
- English reading/writing - Where is White House/The White house is in Washington DC
- Civic questions
Who veto's bills
Countries US fought in WWII
Supreme law of the land
What is an amendment
.... (couple more simple questions)
- Recommended for Approval
- Wait outside for Oath letter (which came in about 30 mins)

Total time inside the office: 70 mins
There was another Indian couple with April Appln date with interview at the same time
