Hi,
I was one of the lucky person selected for dv lottery 2012. I have few questions as below

When applied for DV lottery 2012, I forgot to mention my spouse name so is it possible to change my status to married and if possible which form do I need to fill to include him?

Since me and my spouse both are in US, what will be the next step for processing DV?

Case Number: 2012AS00000XXX

Hope to get reply soon.

where you married when you applied?

When did you applied?
If you were already married when you applied you will have big problems.

When you applied did you put that you were single when in fact you were married?

Adding a spouse and/or child who were present before the e-DV application is sure grounds for disqualification since you were required to submit their info in your e-DV application.
Spouses and/or children acquired AFTER your e-DV application can be added to your case.

I don't understand how someone can "forget" to write her/his husband or wife in or even better, a little baby. unless you actually got married after your registration it is a legit question you will need to answer, and the chances they will accept your answer are extremely low.

The instructions clearly indicate "failure to include spouse and children WILL result in disqualification". Think about it. The purpose of including them along with their photos is to cross reference the online information with the interviewees. How can they do this without any online information/photos of the derivatives? Sorry, consider this a lost opportunity.

"15. SPOUSE INFORMATION – Name, Date of Birth, Gender, City/Town of Birth, Country of Birth, and Photograph. Failure to list your eligible spouse will result in disqualification of the principal applicant and refusal of all visas in the case at the time of the visa interview. You must list your spouse here even if you plan to be divorced before you apply for a visa."
From the DV2012 instructions.

This is a perfect example as to why KCC has to select 100,000 applicants. People think they can out-smart the Immigration Officers, , presenting fraudualent documentation, persons decided not to pursue visa, exclusion of spouse and children , ineligible country etc...The online form is so simple!

not possible

You can only adjust U?????® status proven with a genuine documents ewoith the help of prayers i suggest you go alone for now

go alone? what kind of advice is that? she/he CAN'T go alone, because she/he is married!!! and will have to provide documents and write everything in the forms....i don't think you have a chance.

Thanks for all your suggestion. Anyway I will try. Can you please help me what process do i need to do next?

I think it is wrong to say you forgot to mention your spouse in the application. There is a box that you have to tick if you are 'married'; 'separated'; 'divorced'; 'widowed' - I bet you must have ticked 'single', so you did not forget. Your question should be - 'What would be the implication if I get married after discovering I have won the green card lottery'?

My Friend just forget about this win try again since you are in the states or you will be déportated if you go to the INS due to your fatal error
i won in 1995 over there and it was so easy to get it with my wife. now i'm back to my country since 1997 and here i win again 2012 houraaaaaaa.

It's a pity sap143 was not able to apply. There are no severe restrictions like that (listing a child or spouse on electronic entry) for AOS. Those rules are crusial for CP only.
