Yes you will get a RFE when your 485 is being processed! it is very common that applicants do not submit Medical form at the time of filing for 485 for whatever reason!

I'm asking this because for the first time I saw someone getting RFE on Medical. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a question:
My wife will be travelling to Singapore for 10 days(May 24-Jun 4).She is using her EAD and also has a valid AP till Oct 1st 2006.The H4 stamp expires on June 10th 2006.
Can she re-enter using here H4 ?? or since she is using EAD she must enter using an AP???

what are the documents reqd for her to take if she is re-entering using AP???
Please let me know ASAP.

It is advise to use AP only because she is working on EAD.
Just need to carry AP docs with valid passport.

I140 enquiry

I filed my I140 and 485 on April-05 and I am on my second EAD and my application is filed with sub. labor. The PD is March-01 (EB3). So far I have not received any status on my I140 and recenlty my lawyer initiated an enquiry and they got a letter stating that the they will send a decision in 60 days and sent a fax copy with the same.

If you happened to see this type of situation, can you please share the information.

My PD is going to be current next month and am eagerly waiting for my I140 tp be cleared....my online message is not updated since last April.

EB3(sub labor), PD 03/2001
I140/485 filed on April/05, last Lud on 485(02/17/06, Address change)
Second EAD AD: 04/15/06
FP (Code3) completed on 05/13/05 and no message change..
Waiting for I140 and 485......

My wife used AP to re-enter. She needs to have the following
1) All original AP/I-485/140 Receipt and of course passport
2) All copies of the same docs of yours.
 
What documents do I need for travelling on AP ?

I have photocopies copies of my I-485 receipt , approved I-140 & labor cert.
I do not have the original documents for the above.

I have an EAD.

Do I need original documents ?

I used an attorney in my I-140/I-485/EAD/AP applications. Now I plan to renew my EAD myself. I got the following item list for the renewal application. Is it complete?

1. I-765 application
2. A check of $180 payable to Department of Homeland Security
3. A copy of Form I-94 Departure Record (front and back)
4. A copy of my last EAD (front and back)
5. Two passport-style color photos
6. Copy of I-485 receipt notice

Also, is the following mailing address correct? (I live in MD).

P.O. Box 805887
Chicago, IL 60680-4120

Eb1-or 140 approved

Hi,

I applied for EB1-OR 140 (VSC) in Feb 2006. Didn't apply for 485 because i'm from India.

140 transferred from VSC to TSC around April 20, 06.

Over the past few days there was a flurry of LUDs.
Today, I got three emails saying that the 140 was approved.

Mailed on May 15th 2006
Reached by May 17th
Notice date May 22nd.
Checks cleared May 24th 2006

Here are list I sent along with my and my wife EAD renewal:
• Check in the amount of $180 for the filing fee;
• Form I-765 with two photographs;
• Copy of I-485 filing receipt notice;
• Copy of I-140 approval notice;
• Copy of front and back of I-94 arrival/departure card;
• Copy of front/back of last EAD and previous EAD mailer;
• Copy of driver’s license;
• Copy of passport’s biographic page;
• Copy of Birth certificate.

Offcourse Marriage certificate with wife application.

75 Lower Welden Street

I am also sending my EAD/AP renewal papers for me and my wife. I am little confused with where to send the applications because I am not able get the clear cut address from the form.

I hope mine is similar to your case i.e Applied concurrent in Vermont and 140 approved and 485 pending in Vermont service center. Should I send my renawal papers the address you have give ( Vermont ) or the chicago for both my AP and EAD papers. I would appreciate your help.

one more question about EAD renewal!

Hi,

Could someone pls tell me how many days in advance you need to file for EAD renewal before it expires. My EAD expires on 06/28. I want to wait till the last possible time before i apply for renewal as my priority date is current from June 1st.

One more question: did you send out two separate applications, one for you and one for your wife? I mean you sent them in two envelopes, right?

To cubiclefun: I read the Form-765 instructions again and found that we should send our application to VSC, _not_ chicago. The direct mail instructions are for those family-based (not employment-based) applications, which are also in the c(9) category.
