2004 XL tracker for NSC only!!!

Contact with NSC

Has anyone been in contact with NSC to ask about the processing date of Sept 2003? How is it that the other service centers are having progressing dates but not NSC? Or is NSC playing games by not updating its processing dates?

There is nothing wrong in NSC not updating its processing dates as it stopped approving the cases. NSC seems to be playing games by not working on the cases. What's the benefit of updating the dates from Sep 2003 to a further date when they don't work on them.

NSC is indeed the slowest!! I have replied for my RFE (Recent Pay Stubs & Companys ability) on June 30th, still nothing happened! My 485/EAD/AP were filed on May 19..still evrything is pending.!!! I guess my case is familiar to few of you..but it's frustrating day by day! Anyway..since my EAD is pending since 90 days would I be eligible to apply for iEAD? or since there was in RFE for 140, they won't consider this option? PLEASE let me know!!!

Are you still active in this forum? I think the only way to make this thread sticky is if you email the administrator of the forum...

ok None of the admins want to receive any email. I am not sure how I can get hold of one. If you do, please let me know and I will do this.

My attorney recently filed my I-140, 485, EAD and AP for my wife and I. I'm not sure about what information I should ask my attorney to keep track of my application. I see people mentioning Priority Date, Notice Date, Receipt Date etc. Also is there any tracking number I should get from my attorney to check the status of my case online?

Thanks.

Sriram,
You will receive EAD/AP/485 receipts to your home and your 140 receipt will goto ur lawyer. You should ask your lawyer to give ur 140 receipt number which he will receive by mail within few days
Post your mailing date.

The number is in the upper left corner of the Notice of receipt. If you filed at the Nebraska Service Center, it should begin with LIN04.........., when you get those numbers for each application you filed, you may then go to USCIS web site and register for the on-line status checking.

Thanks Stonewall. I will get the Receipt Number from attorney when he gets it.
1) What is Notice Date, priority Date? Do I need to know that also?
2) Regarding receipt number, will they send it as soon as they get my application? NSC received my application on Aug 19, 2004. DO you think they would have sent the Notice of Receipt already?

Thanks.

Notice date (for USCIS also receipt date) ND is the date when they cash your fee and give you the application receipt number and have your notice of receipt prepared and ready to send (the notice will have the application receipt number - beginning with LIN04...... - the rest is the number they assign to you).
I (and my lawyer) received all my notices of receipt (or my lawyer depending of the type of application form) in 4-6 days (business days). You will probably get the notice very soon. IMy lawyer sends the photopcopies of the originals of these notices automatically - I did not have to ask. However you may want to ask your lawyer to do that. As soon as you have the receipt notice for any of the applications, you will see your application number required to for USCIS web site registration for checking cases on-line.
Priority date is your Labor of certification date - but in your web USCIS portfolio (once you register) there is nothing about priority dates.

Guys,
Dont know whats happening in NSC. I've checked few receipt #'s in the site like 10 digits back from my receipt # and forward. Few EAD's and AP's were approved. No idea how they are working on it.

Hey everyone,
Please dont change the file name when you upload it. It will be difficult to keep track. I updated my Notice Date.
Thanks.
