2004 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

nice idea.. Jharkandi

I wonder what the USCIS strategy would be to approve 485s.. either 485 ND not effected by retrogression or Labor PD not effected by PDs..

Any thoughts Guys..

Received FP Notice today

Friends,

Received FP notice today (Fingerprint ND:02/18/2005 Appointment Date: 04/05/2005 Support Center USCIS Tampa, FL).

Have few questions hope you all could help me in this regard.
[1] In my FP notice the SSN column is blank, is that normal?
[2] The form title says "fingerprint Notification" however down in the body the fine print says "To process your application, the USCIS must capture your biometrics." I suppose it means both Fingerprints and Biometrics as well, and not JUST BIOMETRICS". Please advice.
[3] My 140, EAD and AP are not yet approved, is it normal to get FP notice inspite of that??
[4] How do I get the contact info of USCIS in Tampa to inquire about its work hour timings for both weekdays and weekends.

Sincerely appreciate your suggestions/advice, thanks in advance to all of you.

Andhika_lauw, good insight regarding 140 LUDs. Hope they don't issue RFEs for petty things like you mentioned about the ability to pay if its close enough. I noticed in this tracker few had their 140 LUDs and yet got their FP notice, thats really encouraging.

we all hope we don't get any RFEs and don’t have to wait 3+ months for the approval, considering most of the filers around december04-january05 getting approvals

Thanks for the info.

Help

Somebody please help me in trying to understand the process at VSC. (If there is one!)

Initially I thought we get FP notices once 140 is approved.
But recently I saw people including myself getting FP notices before
the 140 approval and within few weeks of applying for 485.

Is it common that they send FP notices even before
140 is approved? Or these are just few special cases?

VHD99 and casca2005

vhd, it is normal...your 485 will NOT be processed if I-140 is not approved.

casca,

1. No SSN is fine. The FP form handed out has a space for putting SSN, once you do it, the person doing the finger printing will enter it manually.

2. ASC folks ARE aware of bio metrics and will do all of the following (digital photo, digital sig, finger prints of all the fingers individually, left thumb, right thumb, and finally finger prints of 4 fingers excluding the thumb...this is compared with the individual results and declared a PASS).

3. It is normal.

4. Has been answered...

Hope this helps.

Cuk536, thanks for the quick response, appreciate a lot. The info is quite useful.

FP question

Yes jolpot the information you provided is really useful, that cleared my doubts. Thanks a lot.

[5] Question
Also you did mention that 485 would not be processed if I-140 is not approved. I suppose you mean 485 would not be APPROVED until I-140 is approved, or is it that 485 would not be processed until then. Could you please share your thoughts on this, would appreciate it.

Once again thx a lot for all your help/info

A 485 application is based on its underlying 140 petition. So logically, unless you have a 140 approved, the 485 approval wouldn't come.

Is there a reason for LUD chnage on 485 after 140 approoval but before FP.....I saw a lud change on my 485 two times now....???
confused...

Shall we start 485 LUD change reporting thread in main VSC 485 section for everyone's benefit? Anyone who sees a change in 485 LUD first please initiate such a thread. No Excel - plain simple posting - that is all.

Also it will be great to see what all messages are changing and how it is changing with LUD! Folks participate please.

It’s good to see lot of people are getting FP notices,

My PD is Feb.2002-EB3 and I-485/140/EAD/AP=>ND 11/08/04
My 140/EAD/AP all approved.
Still I not received FP notice; I don’t know when I’ll get FP

Lud Changes

Same thing happened to my case (for both I 140 & I 485) and for my wife I 485 ...

NO FP Notices YET

I140 Approved

Hey Folks,

I like to say here that my I140 got approved on 24th FEB'05. My ND was 09/14/04. Its EB2 case.

Employer address in FP form

Guys
When we do finger printing for GC, do they ask us to fill employer name and address in FP form? I work in Seattle at my office headquarters whereas my GC is processed from New Hampshire, branch office. I dont know which address to fill? Thanks for ur replies.

I got my Fingerprint and Biometrics taken yesterday.

To All who has taken finger prints or going to get it done in future...
Make sure that you have gotten Digital Signature, Picture, index finger and all ten fingers prints completed. This is new procedure and they only took finger prints for me, so I went there again and got Biometrics done as well. There is a code field on the finger print notice, if it is 3 that means you need to get finger print as well as biometrics done.

Best of luck to all.. :)
