Zamq,
My I485 lud changed on 02/03/2005. Wondering what is happening? Could it be that our cases are being transferred to cold storage?

Pareshan4GC, I am also in same boat. 140 got approved on 1/13/2005 with wrong message and Got amendment notice of 140 on 1/25/05 with correct message(look for my earlier post about story).

485 LUD got changed for FP first in Novemebr and now 2/1/2005 without message change. No idea what this means ?

Hi guys,

Got a RFE on my 140 - they sent the notice on 02/03 - lawyer got the notice today...3 reasons - 1. Academic Eval had Ms. instead of Mr. 2. Affidavit documents for work experience was not needed in lieu of supporting documents like birth certificate etc: 3. Company needs to show the ability to pay me the salary they said they are paying me.

Gurus - what do you think? Does it seem bad? Point number 2 is very confusing and my lawyer is trying to figure that out...

Anyways, I am trying to get the reply back quick...

 :(

sorrry to hear about that. better talk to United Nations in the thread "Ability to Pay issues" this is a stick in the main vermont thread"

For tracking purpose, based on Notice Date, this should go into 2005 tracker.

Please make this request in 2005Tracker.

Can someone please explain !!!

How is USCIS processing the I-140 cases? I look at the approvals in the tracker spreadsheet for the eb2 applications and there are some for the March applications then some for June and July then there are some for November. Is there a systematic / logical way that they are picking which application to work on next? or is it random?

Need Advice , Plz Help me! :: I-140 / AC21 ::

Hi folks,
Iam I/T professional working as consultant for the most part of my career so far,
My Eb2 RIR I-140/485/AP/EAD were filed in 10/08/2004 by a small 100 +
employees Indian company. Got approved AP/EAD on 11/2004.
No finger print notice yet. though i got finger printed in 04/2004 when i
applied H-1B Visa stamping.

1. Is this normal NO FP notice yet, what do i need to do wrt to that?

2. I am working with a good client on 6 month to hire position,
and with a good american consulting company as a preferred vendor
which pays $$ on time, the client expects me to join them as an employee
after 07/2005 like i mentioned above my I-140 applied in 10/2004 and is
pending, the current processing date for EB2 I-140 is 02/2004,
Is there any good chance my I-140 gets approved by 07/2005 or
little after that?

3. I have another offer, this is a pure consulting assignment
the preferred vendor to this client is an indian company who likes to
pay atleast 45 days LATE and My company wants to charge me 4%
more on the billing rate and pay me 4% LESS $$ but ON TIME.
should i consider this assignment? instead of changing companies
while GC is in process and the risk of getting delayed and
put up with this desi indian companies till my GC approves?

Please help me decide, tell me what you would do in my situation ?
Please respond to me at the earliest as i need to decide soon,
I dont have much time at my disposal.

Thank you very much in advance,

It is pretty random. Some people get approval in a couple of months, other wait for more than a year.

If only we know how they work!!!

I think the approvals are based on a combination of factors including (but not limited to) application date, labor priority date, whether the applicant applied for EAD/AP or not, and ofcourse "sheer luck". Again, this is my guess!!

I know this doesn't help alleviate your pain, but it's the pattern.

AP Photos in Alabama

Hello Gurus,

Can you guys suggest where to take Photos for Advance Parole (AP) in Alabama (Birmingham). The photos I have submittied intially are Digital Photos and are not accepted for AP (They accepted for EAD & Approved).
