my story seems very similar to yours as far as the dates of the i-140 /i-485, i-140 rfe and approval, 2nd ead and fp .am scheduled for FP next week. hope i get a quick approval like you.

what did they ask for in the 485 RFE? did u go early for fp?

I'm pretty sure it's both (like FP notices, unlike I-140 approval notices).

485 RFE is for paystubs and letter form employer with salary,duties,future employment etc....

FP1 originally scheduled for 11/12. Went in early this weekend and got it done. Updated the spreadsheet.

Now the wait continues....

FP at 10/23 newark, NJ

Hi all:

Mine FP is scheduled on 10/23(Saturday). My wife's FP is scheduled on 11/04/04. Do they allow early FP in newark on Saturday?.

Anybody had similar experience?.

Just got the approval news from the USCIS web site, haven't got the official paper notice.
Maybe I've waited for too long, I don't even feel the joy any more. While I'd like to share this :) with you. This site has helped me greatly to hold my hope in those seemingly endless and "dark" days. I am thankful for everyone's hard work. It will be your turn, sooner or later... just hang in there.

Finally my case got approved :)

Finally I got this message for my 485. This case has been approved. :p

IT was kind of surprising as I had gone for my first finger printing on 29th Sept 2004, and my case got approved on 8th Oct 2004.

140 approved on 07/29/2004
ND - 16th July 2003

1st FP done on 09/28. Online message still not updated

I had done mine and my wife's 1st FP on 09/29/2004 & I still dont see the online status changed. I had seen some of you mentioning that the online message changed, can anyone tell me is it normal? :confused:

Some people have apparently gone all the way to their approval without a change to their LUD / status message. I wouldn't worry about it.
