FP notice received
My wife got FP notice yesterday, but I haven't (I'm the primary applicant). Our I-140/I-485 were filed concurrently with a ND of 9/18/2003. I-140 (Eb3) still pending. Is it normal to get FP notice before I-140 is approved? Should I receive my FP notice shortly? Thanks.

we got our FP notice too even though our 140 is not approved.

What do you mean by Completed 1st FP task on 09/02/04, are you done with your FP? Can you do that before the scheduled date.

Hey if you want you can also attend before the scheduled date, if you are eager and want to finish of early. Some people in this thread have done that.

Here i am attaching the updated tracker with my FP dates.
My FP was scheduled for SEP'7th and i got my notices on SEP'9th, which is a mistake.
I took the notice and mailed envelopes to local(DETROIT) INS ASC(Application Support Center) and explained the problem.
They were very nice and understood the problem and took my FP with out rescheduling.

I and my wife filed for 140 & 485 together. I received my FP notice with notice date of 08/27/2004. I have not received the notice for my wife yet. I have to appear at Philadelphia center on October 14, 2004 at 9 AM.
Please can anyone update the file. Also, I read some previous messages which said they have got their FP done before the actual date. Can anyone tell me how they can do that? Should we call some number before to do that.I want to be done with it as early as I can.

My wife got her FP in Fortworth even after my changing the address prior to the notice being sent out by INS. Lawyers adviced better to reschedule than go to the local INS in chicago. God knows how long the wait is going to be.

what ASC are you planning to go to? i received an FP2 notice last week of august, with an FP scheduled on Sept 21. at Newark ASC. i reported to that office to have an early FP, but the security in charge of checking FP notice, id's....rejected it and ask me to report on scheduled date.
