Thanks for your response, I understand I have to wait couple of more days/weeks probably even if I want to initiate an inquiry. But Is the status inquiry have to be done by lawyer?

What is the process?

Status inquiry can be done only if your case is one month behind the processing date. In your case, the case date is 13th Dec, while current processing date is 2nd Jan, the difference is not more than 30 days so you have to wait until the processing date goes beyond 13th Jan.

Status inquiry helped me in my H1B, but I know of guys who are waiting for more than 3-4 months after initiating a status inquiry. Some guys have done 2-3 status inquiries too... so we cannot actually predict anything as far as USCIS is concerned.

Applicant can initiate the status enquiry. I did it today morning. My ND is 11/18/2003. LUD changed twice from 11/18/2003 to 07/09/2004 ,07/12/2004.
She took all my info and sai you receive a mail with in 3-4 weeks.
 
EAD and I-140 approved, but no CARD yet

I140 : RD: Nov 18, 2003
EAD : RD: Nov 18, 2003.

I-140 approved on July 21, 2004.

RFE on EAD: May 5, 2004
EAD Approved on June 8, but not received the card yet. How long does it take to receive the EAD card after approval ?

Hello everyone,

My I-140 application was approved on 07/23. There was a RFE regarding ability to pay, and within a 10 days of receipt of the supporting RFE material, the I 140 was approved.

My details are,

I-140 RD-10/14/03, ND-10/20/03, AD-07/23/04

Hope everyone gets the approvals soon, good luck. I have updated the tracker with my information.

Thanks Raju. No I have not receieved FP notice yet. I am not that lucky buddy. I still have long way to go to get FP unless USCIS thinks otherwise.

What happened to your 485 LUDs? are they still moving up?

I-140 approved on July 21. Receipt date: Nov 18, 2003

No changes to my I485 LUD after their update while approving I140. They must be waiting for something (FBI name check). I have faxed FBI to find out where they are with it.

Looking at the steady flow of I140 approvals from VSC (post October 2003 ND), feel that I was unnecessarily put under tremendous stress. If my I485 gets approved in next couple of weeks I can forget all the trouble I faced so far in the process.

Call the national Customer sirvice center, 1-800-375-5283.
Select the options for Pending cases. and talk to the representative.

Have never been happier reading an email in my Inbox.It says my I-140 is approved:)

I have my EAD's but no AP applied.
Planning to use AC-21 Portability and change company.

I also notice LUD on I-485 (just for myself not spouse) is changed to 07/26 as well(not to say that I am expecting my 485 approval). Did anyone else notice this kind of change?

Replied - On June 21, 2004

Has someone has any idea about how much time I have to wait to get this application approved.

One of my colleague got rfe for company’s ability to pay; once his lawyer replied back, he got his I140 approved within 14 working days.

But for me it’s now more than 24 w days, I'm wondering whether if it is because of RFE on education evaluation or something else.

EAD and AP renewal approved in 26 days

Service Center received date : Jun 30th 2004
Both EAD and AP approval date : Jul 26th 2004.


Thank God ! USCIS has finally waken up on atleast EAD and AP's.
 
Are we updating the correct tracker? I don't see my 140 approval info on the latest tracker.

Guys, please make sure that you use the correct version.

They issued an RFE for 140 on 07/23/2004. I am waiting for the RFE details.

Congrats on your 140 approval.
 
I-140 approved in May - but no approval letter yet

my 140 got approve on may 7th but still my lawyer did not receive approval letter from INS??

What should I do.. the message on uscis still shows the approval...
