Hi lakshmanan,

Can you tell me what is fax no. and what info I need to send to update my address..
I move to new address by March, 04. I informed BCIS thru AR-11. My LUD is May 05, 04. So, I dont know whether they have my new address or not...

Congratulations guys whose I140 got approved... great relief haan.....

Take a week off and enjoy your days... may be to Cancun, Miami, or spend some money at Las Vegas..... :)

Now that INS has touched November and December cases, I am wondering what will happen to Sept and Oct cases.... ?? My attorney says... either the officer who got my case is slow or my 140 n 485 will be adjudicated together... (without a finger print??? ) :-(

Because of the election things might slow down a bit.... lets see how far it goes.....

RFE on EAD And AP

hi everyone,

I got an RFE on EAD and AP (ND Jan 21, 2004) on 25th May . I replied back on 21st of June 2004 but so far they haven't updated on the uscis website. Shouldn't they say recieved RFE reply or they will just approve your EAD . Please let me know.

i my case they updated the website when they received the reply. but we know that USCIS is not consistent.
 
EB2 approvals needed

Hi all,

I haven't seen any EB2 approvals lately. Do you think they have stopped processing EB2 since the last processing date of Nov 19, 2003 ? Let me know your thoughts.

I am little ignorant of how this works. I see that only 9 charaters are displayed/considered and the last 4 are not displayed are the last 4 not considered or does this mean the a case with the first 9 character was Approved.
Let me be clear. Can there be more than one case with the first 9 chracters matching.

Yes, definitely, there are more cases with the first 9 characters matching. The last 4 digits are not mentioned here due to privacy reasons.

My EAD was approved yesterday. No updates on I-140 yet. According the ImmigrationWatch.com there were too many cases for September (over 4K), I guess that's why September filers are stuck. Good luck to everyone.
 
How to initiate Status Inquiry?

Hi Gurus,
Could someone please tell me how to initiate status inquiry on my pending I-140 aplication. My ND is Dec 13th and web site says they are processing Applications as of Jan 02 2004.
I saw many people posting that they did a status inquiry. Is this status inquiry really of any help?

Status inquiry can be done only if your case is one month behind the processing date. In your case, the case date is 13th Dec, while current processing date is 2nd Jan, the difference is not more than 30 days so you have to wait until the processing date goes beyond 13th Jan.

Status inquiry helped me in my H1B, but I know of guys who are waiting for more than 3-4 months after initiating a status inquiry. Some guys have done 2-3 status inquiries too... so we cannot actually predict anything as far as USCIS is concerned.
