guys i have a news!!

The luds on i-485(mine and my wife) changed this afternoon to 8/17/07 with the following msg

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On August 17, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

is that the magic email.
my confusion here is my 5th eads are also pending and as uscis is so screwy i am trying to confirm that the msg is for green card not the ead.
expert folks please give ur 2 cents on it and let me know if this is what i was waiting for or is just another screwup from uscis

What doesn it mean by Additional evaluation ?
Can any one help me hear.

I have opened one SR, two months back, we got reply from TSC and they said they are working actively, since my case required additional evaluation they said it will take 6 months to process my case.
I took info pass appointment and they said Name check cleared and everthing looks fine.

1-140 denied Initially, Appealed and approved within six months in 2004
1-485 reopened on Jan 2005
I-485 Transfered from VSC--> TSC
3EAD approved so far
FP on May 2007

1. One response says they are working on my file and it takes 60 days to compleate the process.

2. Second one said my case required additional evaluation and it's takes 6 months to complelte the process.

I dont know what to say.

No LUDs on I-485 since November. Any suggestions, what to do? Should I get an infopass or a service request? Is that beneficial?
 
Stillwaiting07, I would be very careful. My 485 is not approved, but the message seems familiar as it is the one I received for my EAD too. So, please check with USCIS somehow before assuming anything.
 
msubbu, today i got another msg of welcome to new permanent resident and register for permanent resident.
i will probably wait for few more days and check the updates.

Got email from Senator office:

This application is still pending at this office. Although the visa bulletin indicated visas were available for most employment categories we have approximately 50,000 I485 applications that need completion. We are processing them as expeditiously as possible but it will take time. This application is in line to be worked. Please allow an additional 45 days for completion.

So my applications is still pending tho all checks are cleared.
 
This is what I am concerned with. What on earth they are doing. They have approved the cases which are later than yours and the senators office says 50000 apps are pending.
Which line they are talking about. How that line is formed. Is it not FIFO.
What system they are going to approve these cases. Lottery?????
 
Dear freinds,
Last night (08/21/07) at 8:30pm got an email from CRIS with a message of
485 approval and card production, and this morning (08/22/07) got another email 'welcome new perm. resident'.
And there is no update on my wife's application - let's wait and see

Finally my GC journey is over, Thanks for all your help!!

Still No update to my case...same old story..case received blah..blah....

I'm in the same boat too.
PD Oct 2002 EB2
FP Done in Apr 2004 - No LUD after that
Though IO at Infopass says the case is trasferred to TSC, no letter received nor online status reflects the transfer. Online still says the case is with VSC. Any idea, of what to do in such case?
Please advise.
 
EB2 with PD 12/2003 (Indian Citizen)

So, this is the first time in this forum. My information is mostly what I have known from friends. My signature shows my status. I am waiting on response. Anybody who is in the same timeframe and has received their GC do anything different? I have called CRIS, initiated a request from my Senator and am waiting on response. I have also heard that doing some community work to raise money for one of their omnibus funds helps, but havent seen anybody yet benefited from that. Can anybody please reply? Retrogression doesnt really help any of us and I know there is a petition to not have CRIS do retrogression anymore, but I dont know how much that will fly. Also, the Latest FEB08 bulletin says that EB2-India is "U", which means that dont really have any changes yet, I assume.

I took a info pass to check the status of my GC. They told me that, my I485 is approved on July 14th.

But online status shows that my i485 is still pending in TSC. I called 1-800 number. She told me the same thing what is there online. Then I told her my experience at Local INS. She transferred the call to higher officer and she confirmed that my case is approved.

But still need to wait to see the actual approval notice.

By the way, Local INS put a one year valid Permanent residency stamp on our passports.

Been local INS again and they stamped the passport again with temporary GC approval and officer sent a e-mail to INS to produced the card.

Not got any approved letter from the INS
